The historic mining town of Fairplay is located in the magnificent central Rockies. What Whispering Aspen offers is a Colorado Rocky Mountain retreat from the stresses and obligations of everyday life. The area is abundant in natural amenities and filled with reminders of frontier life and past times. A place where your hardest decision might be to decide whether your preference for the day is going to be fishing, hiking, golfing, hunting, skiing, shopping or sightseeing. Or perhaps a late afternoon nap blanketed in the sounds of the gentle breezes blowing through the surrounding aspen and pine trees. An annual trek to Fairplay in September of every year is a "must" to view the golden splendor of the aspen trees as they put on their fall colors.

1, 2 and 3 bedroom cabins each with fully stocked kitchen utensils, linens and towels. Children 12 and under stay free when accompanied by parents. Amenities include: a newly renovated club house with a full kitchen facility, laundry room, sport court, tennis court, computer and game rooms, "Tot Lot" where your little ones can play, gated entry and outside barbecue grill picnic area.

    PO Box 1990, Fairplay Colorado 80440; 877-836-9747; 719-836-9747.
