Durango lodging
The Iron Horse Inn is located in the charming Animas Valley in Durango, the perfect hotel for every occasion from family vacations to weekend get-a-ways to ski trips and family reunions. Every room is a bi-level suite with two beds. Unlike normal hotel rooms, in ours the beds are not visible from one another so everyone has a sense of privacy. The track-side suites are the same inside as the standard, but out the front window you have a breathtaking view of the Animas Valley as well as the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad as it rumbles by. Family suites are furnished with two queen beds and one full bed, all upstairs, with a couch, microwave, and mini-refrigerator downstairs in the living room area. The family suite also has the added convenience of bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs.

All accommodations include a free continental breakfast for guests. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, exercise facilities, game room for kids and barbecue picnic area. Watch the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad as it makes it way through the San Juan Mountains from our picnic area.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff, as well as our comfortable and affordable accommodations, makes us a great value you will not want to miss while in Durango. Packages with local attractions are available, please ask us when calling.

Smoking, non-smoking and pet friendly rooms are available.
