- This guest ranch, in continuous operation since 1944, is on Highway 149 (AKA Silver Thread Scenic Byway) between South Fork and Creede. This Family friendly ranch in Wagon Wheel Gap has breathtaking scenery and is surrounded by Rio Grande National Forest with 100's miles of four wheel drive roads great for ATVing. 30 miles to Wolf Creek Ski Area. Golf in nearby South Fork. After a day of adventure be sure to enjoy the on-site hot tubs.
Enjoy an afternoon or morning in the mountains on a horseback ride. You may fly-fish in the stocked Rio Grande River for gold medal trout at the Ranch. Watch your kids catch their first fish in one of our ponds. Rent a Jeep to explore Wheeler Geologic National Monument. Or rent a "blue-water" raft for self-guided trip on the Rio Grande. Shop in our new unique and beautiful gift shop with a large selection. Our full service restaurant provides a nice way to enjoy a meal with no cleanup.

Visitors of all ages love to get back to nature at this authentic 1940s guest ranch. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom rustic cabins have kitchens (most with fireplaces), please note the cabins have limited availability from November-April. Our cabins have no telephone! Cabin guests receive a complimentary hot all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, including biscuits, gravy and eggs. RV Park with full hookups. Laundry services available.
