Buffalo Lodge & Rocky Mountain Lodge

Two custom hand-hewn log cabins are a few miles north of Grand Lake, Colorado and just a short distance from Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabins are on Sun Valley Lake a private 22 acre lake providing a great escape year around. Anglers have access to our private, annually stocked, trout lake behind our cabins (no license required).

The Buffalo Lodge sleeps 12 people and features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom is very large with a king bed and has a jetted tub. The house has a porch on the lake side and a large side porch both with beautiful lake views. The cabin features a large great room that attaches to the kitchen. There is satellite TV, DVD player, gas BBQ, and laundry facilities.

The Rocky Mountain Lodge has all the comforts of home including a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with two large dining tables which seat 12. Enjoy a good nights sleep on our quality, pillow-top-type mattresses. The cabin features two upstairs bedrooms (one with two queen beds and one with one king bed). Both bedrooms have access to a private balcony where you can sit and watch the elk in the meadow. There is also a bedroom on the main floor (one bunk bed and one sofa sleeper).

Whether it's spring, summer, fall or winter, our Lodges offers a comfortable retreat for you to relax and enjoy your time off.
