We are located in the heart of Western Colorado's high country. Battlement Mesa Outfitters is surrounded by two majestic Mesas. The first is Battlement Mesa to the north, and to the south is Grand Mesa, the longest mesa in the world. Grand Mesa has over 200 lakes for your outdoor recreation enjoyment. We own our Ranch Headquarters at the base of Battlement Mesa. All activities start from our ranch headquarters in Collbran. Colorado elk hunting, Fishing, and deer hunting is some of the best you will find anywhere.

30 minutes from Grand Mesa. Mountain bike & ATV and snowmobile trails.

HORSEBACK RIDING:

Battlement Mesa Outfitters welcomes everyone from advanced to the first time horseback rider.

We offer hourly horseback rides, 1/2-day and full-day rides from the Ranch. In addition, we to group dinner rides upon reservation. We can also pack you in for a few days up on Battlement Mesa. We provide a very comfortable tent camp set at 10,000 feet. Please contact us for scheduling and reservations. Enjoy the fishing. View and photograph Elk, Deer and Bear plus various other forest critters and birds.

The grass is green and the carpet of wild flowers in the late spring/early summer will take your breath away. In the fall, the autumn leaves light up the whole valley. The scenery is spectacular.

FISHING TRIPS:

We offer hourly Fishing trips, 1/2-day and full-day trips from the Ranch. We can also pack you in for a few days up on Battlement or Grand Mesas. We provide a very comfortable tent camp set at 10,000 feet. Please contact us for scheduling and reservations.

All you need is a valid Colorado Fishing License.

GUIDED HUNTING:

Fully Guided hunts and drop camp hunts at two camp locations deep within the Grand Mesa National Forest. We also offer Deluxe Drop Camps ask about locations. We are located in Western Colorado in Game Management Units 421 and 42. The area has diverse terrain consisting of gambles oak, aspen, sub alpine meadows, and high mountain lakes. This area has everything the Elk and Deer are looking for. Colorado Elk Hunting and Deer Hunting is some of the best you will find in the country. Our hunting area ranges in elevation from 7,500 feet to above 10,000 feet. High altitude hunting is amazing and challenging. There is nothing like it!
